The Riad
Our house (riad) is situated in the old center (the Medina) in one of the most quiet, clean, safe and luxureous neighbourhoods, but just 1 minute away from the authentic, lively stores and markets. Ten minutes walking from the famous, big square Jemaa el Fna. The house is easy accessible by car, only the last 80 meters to go on foot.

Traditional Moroccan house
A traditional Moroccan house has hardly any windows towards the street, only walls. Once you enter through the large ceder wooden gates you enter into your own privacy and silence. You may hear the friendly noise of the fountain or the birds in the vegetal court. All rooms have doors and windows towards these courtyards. The house is solidly built and restored with lots of local ornaments, iron work, turned wood, mozaik, marble and the very special tadelakt (soapstone stuco) walls and floors. All lamps were handmade, just like the copper hammerd sinks in the bathrooms, all custommade by the Masters in their Arts. All furniture and antiques are authentic and of Arabian origin, this makes the house less suitable for children.
